About The Embassy of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Washington DC

Saudi Arabia and the United States have a longstanding relationship dating back to the 1930s, when American businessmen first traveled to the Kingdom to help develop the country’s natural resources. In 1945 we witnessed the first meeting between a Saudi monarch and an American president when King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman met with President Franklin Roosevelt. Today, the Kingdom remains one of America’s closest allies and strongest economic partners in the Middle East.

Our mission at the embassy is to assist in strengthening, deepening and broadening this historical and strategic relationship.

The Consular District of the Embassy includes:
Alabama, Ohio, Tennessee, Georgia, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Washington, DC and Maryland.
